This paper shows the results of nine years of work on the diagnostics and treatment of Helicobacter pylori in our patients. Biopsy of the mucous membranes of the stomach was carried out in 461 patients. Helicobacter pylori was found in 126 samples. It was most often associated with gastritis, in 70.63% of cases, whilst in only 4.76% with a duodenal ulcer. In 9.52% cases gastroduodenitis was shown, in 0.79% a ventricular ulcer and in 1.58% esophagitis. In 12.69% of cases the results were normal.
