50 years of post-graduate teaching in mother and child health care

The post-graduate study of Mother and Child health care is marking the 50th anniversary of its foundation. This study course is one of the first four courses at the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb. Over the 50 years of its existence its content has been adapted to the health needs of mothers and their children. It is today faced with new challenges arising from new morbities in children, the movement towards integration in Europe and the need to apply the Bologna Declaration, which assumes greater mobility, the principle of choice and accessibility to provide the international dimension of the course.
