Febrile seizures

Febrile seizures are the most frequent convulsive syndrome, which occur in early childhood. The understanding of them has greatly evolved in the past decades. In this paper we reviewed current data on febrile seizure etiology and pathogenesis, as well as clinical recommendations for their treatment in daily routine clinical practice.
