The need to establish a centre for the prevention and treatment of eating disorders in children and young people
The prevalence of eating disorders (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating and obesity) has been increasing rapidly worldwide, and it has an epidemiological character. Considering the possible consequences, early recognition of these disorders has become the main strategy in the treatment of children with eating disorders. However, in situations when the disease is progressing to a more severe or chronic state it is necessary to treat children in specialized institutions.Keywords:
