This is the case of a 3 and a half month-old-child with egzophtalmus on one eye. The child was examined by an ophthalmologist. A tumour was suspected so more diagnostic examination was made. The results of the clinical examination and differential diagnostics show a glioma of the optic nerve. The method of treatment was set by a team of: ophthalmologist, neurosurgeon, and oncologist. This work describes our observations of the course, the methods and the results of treatment over a period of five years.
