Cervical tuberculous lymphadenitis
Six patients with cervical tuberculous lymphadenitis are presented. A pathological chest x-ray was found in one patient, and erythema nodosum in two patients. Lymph node abscesses were found in all patients and fistula in two patients. Cytologic findings in all patients confirmed granulomatous inflammation. Mycobacterium tuberculosis was found in the lymph node punction of four patients. All patients underwent surgical treatment. Antituberculotics were administered for six months in three patients and twelve months in three patients.Keywords:
