Stevens-Johnson syndrome: case report
Stevens-Johnson syndrome is a rare and life-threatening acute allergic reaction aff ecting the skin and mucous membranes. We discuss the clinical presentation, evaluation, and treatment of a 9-year-old girl with Stevens-Johnson syndrome, which occurred due to the antiepileptic drug carbamazepine (Tegretol™).Keywords: Stevens-Johnson syndrome; carbamazepine; child
